Founded in 2023, Kadzuhoni Mangrove Conservation has united local communities to plant thousands of trees and pioneer eco-friendly activities in coastal Kenya.
We grow and plant mangroves to restore degraded coastal ecosystems and enhance biodiversity.
We raise awareness and train community members on the importance of conserving mangroves and marine life.
We conduct research to inform policy, monitor biodiversity, and protect marine habitats.
We empower locals through beekeeping, sustainable fishing, aquaculture, and ecotourism.
We have planted more than 40,000 mangrove trees to restore and protect coastal biodiversity and fight climate change.
Our nurseries have nurtured over 110,000 seedlings to ensure continuous mangrove restoration efforts.
We’ve organized 5 groups focused on conservation, sustainable fishing, beekeeping, ecotourism, and environmental education.
We have laid the groundwork for Artemia farming—a sustainable aquaculture venture supporting livelihoods.
